However, I'll always advise newbies to start by researching niche markets that they are passionate about or at least interested in. It's just so much easier if you love and enjoy what you are doing... As a matter of interest, ancient history may not be a bad niche... Based on Wordtracker the term "ancient history" gets searched for 428 times a day. You may want to have a closer look at it...
